The planet is actually a moon orbiting a small gas giant. It is humid and swampy on the poles, nearly scalding oceans near the equator. The grey-green clouds are thick, but sometimes the pale blue sky still peeks through. The moon is opposed to the current government, but lacks the power to do anything about it. They have little technology that would even allow them to leave the planet.
