This planet is purposefully self sufficient. They don't accept exports from the Core planets and so don't need to offer many trade goods in return. he policy of isolationism has caused problems in the past. Many see it as a violation of human rights and freedoms. But it has always been more profitable for the Republic to maintain peaceful relations with Takatifu.
