"Do what you want, but you're never gonna break me. Sticks and stones are never gonna shake me. No." The day so far was nothing more then the same thing as every day before. It some what sucked really doing the same things over and over until they where perfected. Dancing, singing, cooking, graceful stepping, etiquette and much much more where thing that where expected perfection on from the woman. Their was also normal schooling as well for a huge variety of other things as well which they where expected to know. On this planet every one was expected to be the perfect beings and honestly that was just not something that could be accomplished.
Kyra herself though this was just boren. She had been at this for a few years now and was very good but still saw little reason in why they needed to be trained for so long. Though she never complained to much since she also understood the woman had it easier then the men at least. They where not asked to fight each other to the death. Though she did find that a bit exciting the thought of being taught how to fight so well. Though she knew it was not something that would ever be allowed for her.
It was close to nightfall now and for the most part her training was done for the day. She was a bit tired but felt like going for a walk for a little while just for something to do. She had been cooped up all day doing everything that she was requested to do so now was her time to relax and have some fun. After her classes where over she went and changed out of her clothes and put on a lighter outfit something she could mess around in and be able to move around easily in.
After sitting around she figured out where she wanted to go a small little lake not all that far away from where she was. I took her only a few moments to get their and nobody was around so she decided to have a little fun just for the heck of it. The lake was out in a forest a little ways just well enough of a distance not to be herd or seen. So she decided to dance around for a little on the edge of the water sending little sprinkles up into the air that shimmered under the moon light.
One thing she had to admit was she loved to dance and sing even though they where things she had to do. She was glad she learned them cause they where fun as well. Such as tonight for her dancing in the water sending up small little burst into the moonlight made her very happy. As she danced she could not help but hum a little to herself. Though he only problem with this was the fact their was no body else to dance with and have fun with. Sanaa gratefully slid the screen to her room shut as the last maidservant left for the time being. There was still dinner to see to later and she would have to dress accordingly and say all the right things to attempt to win Lupo's assistance, but for the next couple of hours her time was her own.
She carefully took out the pins that held her hair in its elaborate style aloft, working in instead of working out. Girls often pulled the key pin first, the pin that held all the others in place and that would release the hairstyle immediately. But as one got older one learned that there were better ways. After spending twice as long untangling the outer pins from her hair as it would have taken to take them out one by one before the key pin she had learned to do it correctly. Now she did it automatically, not even thinking about the correct order, her hands just finding the required pins easily.
She set the ornate pins aside and slid out of the dress she had worn to the tea ceremony conducted in the Matriarch's Garden of Roses, laying the dress out as neatly as possible so that it would be easy for the her to straighten and repack later. Standing only in a soft, silk shift that kept the thick and sometimes stiff material of the gowns she wore from chaffing her skin, Sanaa searched through her wardrobe for something a little more comfortable.
She pulled the shift off over her head and her hands automatically folded it neatly and laid it aside without her mind needing to get involved and she pulled out a soft blue shirt suitable for the evening hours and pulled on a pair of jeans that fit her legs like a second skin. The close fit was not the most comfortable but it was certainly more comfortable than the dress she had been wearing and, even in her down time, she could not afford to walk around the Matriarch's compound in only her sleep wear. If she was not mistaken, the training facilities for the young Lupo women were also located on these grounds and, as she had reason to know, young women talk. Anything she did while here could reflect badly on Drago and she could not afford to lose the Lupo's sponsorship just because she could not deal with the fit of her jeans.
Sanaa slid on a comfortable, form fitting jacket, and pulled some boots suitable for crossing grass without getting ruined onto her feet before she slid open the screen that led to the the grounds outside her room.
Finding a sickle moon clearly holding her place in the night sky Sanaa bowed slightly out of respect before setting off across the grass. She was not looking for anyone or anything, in fact she was looking for the exact opposite. After a day spent in diplomatic negotiations she wanted a quiet place and some solitude. Well she found the first but the second seemed determined to elude her tonight.
As she came upon a moonlit lake she saw a girl dancing on the shore, seemingly unaware of anyone else's presence. "Good evening Di," Sanaa said quietly, informing the girl of her existence.

"Do what you want, but you're never gonna break me. Sticks and stones are never gonna shake me. No." The young girl was rather intrigued by the fact the night was so charmingly exquisite. Every thing seemed so lovely and perfect. The stars were shimmering high above. wind blowing its whispering wave of sound through the tree's and over the water creating little ripples that brushed across her legs as she danced. Even the moon was bright showing its illuminating reflection over the small lake. Everything seemed so perfect but still things seemed a bit dull. She was growing older and still had never seen anything other then the small area's around her housing where she was being trained. she could not even see other parts of her own planet say nothing about the rest of the universe. She often had these thoughts but saw now way to ever make any of these childish dreams come true. Even if she was to leave she would have to go through medical things along with many other issues as well. As much as she loved the place she also detested it for the way their people where held basically captive. But those thoughts where something she would just have to get over. Or maybe she would just have to run away, but was that even a possibility. Oh well though for now her best thoughts where keeping to her training and doing what she had to do. As she danced suddenly a soft and gentle voice spoke. Which was something she would not ever expect for her being out here. This was like a secret place she came to and never told any one about. So as soon as she herd the soft voice she went to spin around but the sand under her left foot stopped her from spinning and instead caused her to trip and fall backwards landing in the water and hitting the sand semi-hard onto her butt. Turning her attention to the direction she herd the voice she looked towards the girl who seemed to be not of her house and some one she had never seen before. Standing up she walked forward a tiny bit then gave a slow bow along with a gentle smile. Even though this girl was a stranger she still knew it would be best to be respectful just in case. Also the girl looked a bit older so she was not sure of her martial status. After a second she stood back up and stared a little trying to think of who she was so she felt a little less nervous. "Um hello.. Sorry to seem so well um shocked i just never though any one would be here while i was. I really didnt even know any body knew where this place was. I hope its okay? And also is their anything i may be able to help you with. ?"[/center]

Sanaa smiled a little to hear the girl chatter. She didn't know her exact age but if she had to guess she would say 14 or 15. She looked old enough and her movements were graceful enough to be near the end of her training and yet she was here, on the Matriarch's grounds, instead of with her family awaiting marriage proposals.
Sanaa returned her bow though hers wasn't as deep. As an envoy from the Drago house and just as an older woman she was the superior in this situation. Though, to be honest, she didn't really want to stand on ceremony right now. She'd come out here to get away from it. But not wanting to conform to culture and not conforming to culture were two different things. She had always been a good servant and representative of her House and her training and today was no different.
"I am Sanaa di'Drago," Sanaa introduced herself, hiding her discomfort at her martial status. At her age to still carry the di in her name could be considered a slight embarrassment and sign of bad genes. She had been married once but it had ended and she had yet to choose another. Though, as things were shaping up, she may have her choice made for her. That was one of the many things she was here to prevent.
"I am visiting your lovely city," Sanaa continued in a soft voice, looking out over the lake instead of at the girl, giving her what privacy she could. There was nothing necessarily shameful about being outside at this hour, Sanaa was here after all and she wouldn't have risked the lessening of her House's reputation just to get some air, but it would have been impolite to stare though Sanaa did wonder at a girl who escaped the dormitories.
"I was looking for a place to contemplate the Lady," Sanaa said with a nod to the moon whom women sometimes referred to as the Lady. Safi didn't believe in gods but they got close, respecting such natural things as the moon and the sun, clouds, the elements, finding meaning and purpose and lessons in each. The moon was often held to represent womanhood and the night and the dark and giving nature of women for she gave way to the sun each dawn and yet the night always returned. It provided rest and comfort and urged you to take shelter with your family. It was darkness and the secrets it held in its shadows could be many just as women hid their thoughts. It was..confusing. She had never understood the ways in which women were like the night or the moon. But it was another thing she had been taught to revere so she paid her respects every night the moon was clear in the sky.
"I am sorry if I have transgressed," she continued, looking over at the girl, "if this place is private I will leave. I did not know."
