Quality Transference The ability to give the physical qualities of one object to another object. Available
Manifestation: You can get a general sense of what qualities a material has just by touching it (flexibility, conductivity, density, opacity, texture, etc.).
Newly Powered:You can now get a good sense of a material's qualities and can transfer the qualities of one material to another similar material (you can make steel take on the properties of gold, but not wood). It takes a lot of concentration and effort. You must also be touching both a sample of the material you are taking qualities from, and the object you are transferring the qualities to. Only one quality can be transferred at a time.
Apprentice: You can easily determine the qualities of a material with a simple touch. With enough effort you can transfer qualities of similar materials without much trouble. Multiple qualities can now be transferred at once, but more qualities takes more concentration and effort.
Professional: You can now transfer qualities between objects that aren't as similar (wood and metal, glass and plastic, etc.). Transferring multiple qualities at the same time is also easier.
Expert: With significant effort you can now transfer qualities between objects that are vastly different (glass and water, honey and diamonds, etc.).
Master: It is fairly easy to transfer the qualities of pretty much any objects, but it still requires direct contact. You can even conduct multiple transfers simultaneously.
Limitations: You can not transfer qualities to or from living matter. Dead matter is fine. Transfers are permanent unless manually reversed. Forms of energy such as light, heat, and electricity can't be transfered. And while you may be able to do something like transfer the properties of lava to a pencil, it won't stop you from getting burned by the lava when you touch it to make the transference.
Shadow Manipulation The ability to create or manipulate shadows. Taken By: Daxen
Manifestation: Your shadow seems to not mimic your physical movement sometimes, and may bely strong emotions you are trying to conceal: such as a cowering shadow if you are afraid, or a tense one if you are angry.
Newly Powered: You have some degree of control over your shadow, though it must always stay “attached” to you—if you jump, it returns to normal.
Apprentice: Professional: Expert:
Master: Not only do you have complete control of your own, and others’ shadows, you can create shadows at will—even in strong light. You have the ability to completely envelop large areas in complete darkness. Limitations: Shadows and darkness are not tangible forces, and cannot directly affect the physical world.
Sizeshifting The ability to increase or decrease one's size. Available
Manifestation: You can grow or shrink a foot in height. Your clothes don't change with you.
Newly Powered: You may now double your height, or cut it in half.
Apprentice: You may now triple your height or shrink down to a quarter of your size. With some effort, simple clothes may be able to change as well.
Professional: You can now grow four times your height or 1/8 your height. Simple clothes easily change with you, but complex clothes still take effort.
Expert: You can now grow eight times your height, or shrink to 1/16 your height. All but the most complex of outfits can change with you easily. Nonliving things you are holding may grow or shrink as well, but it can be mentally taxing.
Master: You can change the size of any part of your body at will. You can get as small as a flea or as big as a redwood. things you are holding or wearing can change size with you, but the change back if you loose contact with them.
Limitations: If you are trapped and attempt to "grow" out of your confines, you may be faced with a very ugly realization: either what's holding you will break, or you'll be crushed to death. There is a difference between a matchbox and a lead coffin. Keep that in mind.
Sonic Scream The ability to generate vocal sounds of a higher amplitude than a normal human. Available
Manifestation: You can project your voice at louder-than-normal levels: as if you had a megaphone.
Newly Powered: You can elevate your pitch and volume enough to shatter crystal with ease, and even slightly sturdier glass if you exert yourself. The effect is radial, and you cannot focus on a target yet.
Apprentice: You can now start to focus you power. It is still in a general direction but can now be narrowed to a circumference of a few yards. It is much easier to control pitch and volume. You are also now powerful enough to break through panes of glass.
Professional: Focusing you power to the radius of a few feet is possible. You break through glass with less effort and even cause objects on surfaces to vibrate, such as pens or bowls. You can also scream for slightly longer than you could with a normal breath.
Expert: Your affected range is now within a couple feet. Objects that are either on ledges or at the edges of tables can be shaken off. Screams can also last up to a minute.
Master: You can greatly target your sonic scream ability, so that those outside of a small conal range are not as devastatingly effected. Your sonic scream is powerful enough to temporarily cripple anyone effected by it, rendering them paralyzed for a short time. If you maintain such levels of force, you can permanently damage a person’s hearing, or even kill them.
Limitations: The longer you exert yourself, and at greater forces, above your power level, the more likely you are to blow out your voice. This is very painful, and you will need days or weeks to recover enough even to speak. Your power is rendered useless in deep space or other vacuums (no molecules to vibrate).
Sublimation The ability to transform into a gaseous, mist, or fog-like form. Available
Manifestation: With enough concentration, small parts of your body can become gaseous for a few seconds before reforming.
Newly Powered: Your entire body can become gaseous for a few moments at a time if you concentrate hard enough. Your clothes do not. You retain a humanoid shape.
Apprentice: You no longer need to keep a humanoid shape, but you still stay in a fairly condensed blob of gas. Clothes don't change and it is hard to use your senses when not human-shaped. Strong winds may blow you away, making reforming difficult.
Professional: You can now make your clothes and other minor items you are holding gaseous along with the rest of you. You can somewhat resist strong winds.
Expert: When gaseous, you may expand your mass to encompass a larger area. You can understand your surroundings even when not in a humanoid shape.
Master: You can conform to any shape while gaseous and control your movements. Even moving against the wind. You are aware of your surroundings while gaseous.
Summoning The ability to summon objects for assistance. Taken By: Fitter
Manifestation: You seem to be particularly good at catching falling objects, and sometimes catch yourself holding an item you only just realized you needed—or meeting someone at the door who you were about to go see.
Newly Powered: You seem to have minor telekinetic abilities, but only when bringing lightweight (about the weight of a pen or pencil) objects to yourself. You can mentally “call” for someone, and if they’re not very mentally preoccupied at the time, they could “hear” you. Showing up is all a matter of their choice.
Apprentice: If you call to a person they will feel compelled to come to your location as if on instinct. It is harder for them to resist but can still be ignored. As for objects, small ones such as pens, will appear in your hand without you knowing where they came from. You can also begin to move larger objects across tables but not through the air.
Professional: You are beginning to be able to summon objects of larger sizes and mass, such as a baseball instead of just a pen. Also larger objects now will come toward you even through the air, but they usually do so very quickly so it is best to be prepared. When you call people they will feel compelled to come to you much like feel like there is an emergency. If they ignore it they will have a nagging feeling in the back of their minds which is usually very uncomfortable.
Expert: You can summon most objects as long as you have seen them before, larger ones take more effort to get though. If the object is in the room you can pull it toward you and more importantly control the speed at which it comes. People are less likely to be able to resist you calling them unless they have very strong wills and again they are left with a strong nagging feeling.
Master: You can summon people to you against their will, though the harder they resist, the more weakened you will be. You can also summon objects you have never seen or handled, so long as they exist elsewhere. That said, you will always be “summoning” something, not creating it: summon a pen and you don’t know whose pocket it originally came from—it could be a regular schmuck, it could be a politician signing a peace treaty. When objects are summoned, they will appear where you want them to, though it must not be greater than fifty feet from you.
Superhuman Reflexes The ability to react faster than a normal human. Taken: Xander
Manifestation: You have a knack for catching falling objects, and holding your footing on less-than-sturdy ground.
Newly Powered: You can dodge things moving at a moderately high speed, such as sloppy punches or slower kicks. You have the balance of a decent gymnast, though not a remarkable or superhuman one—and not the acrobatic talents.
Apprentice: Professional: Expert:
Master: You are able to multitask several dexterous feats at once, and can balance along very narrow or small, unstable landings. Your reflexes are so honed that you can quickly dodge even bullets—however, it must be from a sizable distance (you do not have flat-out superhuman speed so much as the ability to control very fast jerks or modifications to the placement of your body and/or limbs). Though you are still vulnerable to stealth attacks, the very moment your body senses danger, you are able to react.
Superhuman Hearing The ability to hear at superhuman levels. Available
Manifestation: Your hearing is twice as good as an average person's.
Newly Powered: Your hearing is three times as good as an average person's. You can hear tones at higher and lower pitches than normal humans.
Apprentice: Your hearing is four times as good as an average person's. Loud sounds can cause physical pain.
Professional: Your hearing is unmatched in the animal kingdom. However, it is still difficult to separate sounds when there are a lot of them present (a busy street). You are able to tone out some sounds if you are able to concentrate.
Expert: Only the loudest sounds hurt your ears now. You can pick out a pin drop on the other side of a crowded restaurant.
Master: You have full control of what you can and can't hear, though you are more sensitive to sudden, loud noises than normal people. You can hear a spider spinning its web on the opposite end of a crowded spots stadium.
Superhuman Smell & Taste The ability to smell and taste things at a more acute level than humanly possible. Available
Manifestation: You can pick out very distinct flavors or smells, even when they are mixed with other ones.
Newly Powered: The range at which you can notice smells is three times greater than most people. You almost automatically know if the chemical compound you are smelling is toxic.
Apprentice: Professional: Expert:
Master: From tasting less than a drop, or a small surface of something, you can interpret all its atomic particles. For example, tasting a tiny bit of soil will tell you the overall climate, what kind of region the soil came from, pollutants, etc. Your sense of smell is stronger than a bloodhound’s, and you can easily track people with it. Your sense of smell and taste may blur, in fact, allowing you to “taste” the air.
Superhuman Sight The ability to see details from increased distances. Taken: Asher
Manifestation: You can see at a 40/20 level (that’s twice as good as perfect vision, for slower folks).
Newly Powered: You can see at 60/20 vision, and your night vision is also slightly increased. However, exceptionally bright lights will leave you dazed and dizzy, and it takes slightly longer for you to adjust to dramatic shifts in lighting.
Apprentice: Your vision adjusts better to dramatic shifts in lighting, and you night vision is now capable of seeing colors two-thirds as brightly as if it were regular lighting.
Professional: You can focus your vision to about the magnification of a low-grade microscope.
Expert: You can see in heat vision, and your visual acuity rivals that of birds of prey.
Master: You can see in x-ray vision, as well as notice the slightest changes in colors or shadow. There isn't a creature alive that can see better than you.
Limitations: You cannot see through thick metal, such as lead.

Superhuman Speed The ability to run and move faster than humanly possible. Available
Manifestation: You can sprint for considerable distances without getting tired, and regular speed running wears on you about as much as walking.
Newly Powered: You can reach top human speed (a bit less than 30mph), though maintaining this speed for more than ten minutes will exhaust you. This is assuming you are naked, or are wearing very, very light-weight clothing. Carrying anything heavier will wear you out quicker.
Apprentice: Professional: Expert:
Master: You can move just below the speed of light, and can even vibrate your molecules fast enough to phase through (relatively thin) walls. Doing this can have dire consequences though, as it might cause any integral structure to collapse. Moving at your top speed will exhaust you after fifteen minutes, though anything decently slower than that will take much longer to wear you out.
Limitations: You do not have superstrength, so are still burdened by any extra weight you carry. If you carry anything greater than half your body weight, you cannot reach your top speed level, and you will be worn out much quicker. Non-durable clothing will take an expected amount of friction damage.
Superhuman Strength The ability to demonstrate more strength than humanly possible. Available
Manifestation: Regardless of your physical stature, you are about as strong as a linebacker.
Newly Powered: You are as strong as humanity’s best body-builder.
Apprentice: You are as strong as pony or small horse. Don’t laugh. Those things are pretty tough.
Professional: Expert:
Master: You can punch through most metal, and thick lead or steel will eventually cave in if you repeatedly strike it. You are unparalleled in strength across all comparatively sized, humanoid species, and most aliens species as a whole.
Limitations: Strength does not equate with invulnerability. You will still take the average time to heal any wounds, and weapons do average damage against you. However, you will be more conditioned to striking hardened objects: punching a solid metal wall would break someone else's hand, but it would probably just give you bruises.
Superhuman Tactile Sense The ability to obtain greater details about any object touched. Available
Manifestation: You are particularly sensitive in regions where humans already have greater numbers of nerves.
Newly Powered: You have a superior tactile memory—you can recognize the “feel” of a substance or surface if you’ve felt it before.
Apprentice: You are increasingly dextrous with manipulating small, delicate objects.
Professional: Expert:
Master: You can deduce the atomic particles in something by feeling it. Touching another person will tell you how nervous, frightened, or happy they are. You are especially dexterous in handling small, delicate objects.
Limitations: With the heightened number of nerves in your body, you may be very, very sensitive to pain, and will be unable to function when injured if you do not rigorously train yourself to endure it.
Superhuman Tracking The ability to track an individual or object through supernatural means. Taken: Huria
Manifestation: You generally don’t misplace things, and when you do, you find them fairly easily. You are rarely completely lost, even in new places.
Newly Powered: You can locate objects that other people have lost with ease. However, this does not apply to purposefully hidden objects. You can find people without a certain radius (such as a ship level) easily, unless they intentionally do not want to be found.
Apprentice: You have a knack for locating things hidden in "predictable" or mundane places--secret drawers, mattresses, etc. You can find people who don't want to be found as long as they are in public; ie: avoiding someone by going to the mess hall.
Professional: Expert:
Master: You can track people or objects, even if you haven’t seen or met them before, over great distances (like open space). You may not know their exact location from such a great distance, but you know which direction to head in—whether or not the object was hidden, or the person does not want to be found.
Technopathy The ability to manipulate technology. Available

Teleportation The ability to move from one place to another without occupying the space between. Taken By: Kaden
Manifestation: On rare occasions, you will suddenly teleport an inch or so. This only occurs while you are moving, though.
Newly Powered: Now you’ve figured out how to teleport yourself. After a minute or so of heavy concentration, you can teleport yourself within ten yards, as long as you can see where your going. However, your clothes don’t teleport.
Apprentice: By concentrating hard enough, you can teleport up to fifty yards. You can teleport clothing now.
Professional: Your range has extended to 200 yards. You can also teleport through something, as long as you can fully visualize the location. It is also possible to teleport small objects. Armor and additional accessories can be teleported.
Expert: You can easily teleport over 700 yards. You can now teleport one other person with you.
Master: Teleporting over a mile comes easily to you, as well as teleporting multiple people. You only have to look at a location for a moment to be able to teleport to it.
Limitations: In order to teleport something, you must be touching it. To teleport to a location that you can’t see, you must be able to fully visualize it.
Variable Aging The ability to change your physical age at will. Available
Manifestation Level You may find that you get compliments on looking younger or more mature than someone your age might expect, depending on the situation.
Newly Powered Level You can make yourself look up to five years older or younger.
Apprentice Level You can make yourself up to ten years older or younger.
Professional Level You can make yourself up to twenty years older or younger. You can now also change your appearance to a limited degree. The changes can be non-genetic physical characteristics (You could change things like your hair length or weight, but not things like hair color or nose shape or maximum height).
Expert Level You can make yourself up to fifty years older or younger.
Master Level You have complete control over your physical age. You can become anything from a newborn baby to an extremely elderly individual.
Limitations Your age changes are physical only. You still have the same memories and knowledge you have always had. Your clothes do not change with your body.
Wallcrawling The ability to crawl on vertical and horizontal surfaces, regardless of gravitational pull. Available
Manifestation: When climbing on something, you are able to keep a very strong grip. Your hands will only slide on the wettest surfaces.
Newly Powered: You seem to have the equivalent climbing skills of a professional rock-climber. As long as there are a few finger holds and toe holds, you can climb it.
Apprentice: You can climb rough-textured walls, like brick, as easily as a ladder.
Professional: It is now possible for you to climb upside down, but only as long as the surface is relatively rough. Average-textured walls like smooth stone can be climbed.
Expert: You can now cling to the smoothest, horizontal surfaces, like a glass wall. Climbing upside down on any other surface is child’s play.
Master: You can stick and climb anything, as long as you have a few toes or fingers on it. Theoretically, you can scale surfaces even in a vacuum.
Water Manipulation The ability to control, generate or absorb water. Available
Manifestation: Your entire body can become wet at will. Or if already wet, it can become dry.
Newly Powered: You can generate or absorb about a gallon of liqiud.
Apprentice: You can generate or absorb a small pool of water. You can also make ittake simple actions, like make waves. However, it may become mentally taxing.
Professional: You can generate or absorb substantial amounts of water, and you can direct it to do simple things that water normally wouldn't, like flow up hill.
Expert: You have better control over water and you can make/absorb even more of it. With enough effort, you can even exhude a little bit of control over water's solid and liquid states as well.
Master: Water goes where you direct it to, easily and with relatively good precision. You can create multitudes of it, seemingly from nowhere. Frozen and gaseous water are still difficult to influence.
Weather Manipulation The ability to control or mentally affect the weather. Available
Manifestation: Newly Powered: Apprentice: Professional: Expert: Master:
Zombification The ability to reanimate expired people and animals. Available
Manifestation: A nearly complete, deceased body may move around after being touched by someone with this ability. The zombie can't be controlled and will act on instinct, but it will not purposefully harm its creator.
Newly Powered:Zombies can be created from bodies with severe wounds as long as the most important parts are still in tact. They now follow extremely simple orders.
Apprentice: Zombies can use simple tools and can follow straightforward instructions.
Professional: Zombies can be created from old or severely damaged bodies. They can't talk, but you can get a feeling for what they are trying to 'say' to you.
Expert: Zombies retain most of the abilities they had in life (corpse willing) and can follow moderately detailed orders.
Master: Even bare skeletons can be reanimated. They will follow detailed instructions as long as they are well specified. Someone with this ability may even become a zombie after their own death.
Limitations: You must physically touch a body in order to zombify it. Reanimated corpses are not alive and do not retain their memories from life, although they may have instincts. Over time, the bodies will still rot and do not heal (although physically mending them may be possible). The number of zombies that can exist at any one time is equal to your post count divided by ten (rounded up). This power does not interact with Mediumship. Both powers can work on the same body but the dead person is not aware of what is happening to their body after death.
