Planet Name: Technically it is named "Messix Overworld 22Y7", but everyone calls it "Urbania"
Planet Location: Mid-Ring
General Planet Climate: A cityscape. Largely polluted, with varied weather depending on location.
Population Levels: The population is overwhelming.
Standard of Living: There are large divides among the wealthy and the poor.
Main Export: Much of the planet's trade is based around processing and manufacturing. Sweat shops allow items to be made cheaper here than on many other planets with a sufficient and willing work force.
Relation to the Central Government: They generally go along with the UIR as long as they aren't harassed about their poor working conditions or the low wages for most employees.
Religion: Religion is not a large focus on this planet, and so people are free to practice what they want.
Planetary Culture: The culture mainly revolves around working and providing for your family. If you can not provide for your family, you are seen as weak, no matter how much money you have. There is also an emphasis on getting things done on schedule. Being late is a no no.
Other History: Urbania was an early planet to be terraformed and inhabited, but a large wildlife population was never introduced. Which is just as well, because when urban sprawl went out of control, the only "wild" places left are in a few zoos and parks.
The entire planet became a system of cities that piled on top of themselves. Not only that, but the economy became largely centered around processing and manufacturing goods for other worlds. Urbania's location makes it a decent hub for interplanetary travel. Although aside from freight ships, they don't get a lot of visitors.
People on this planet are generally poorer, but not oppressed by their government. They are oppressed by corporations instead. It is hard to get ahead in the work force, but if you do, there is a lot of money to be made.
